The Europa Project is a collaborative documentary project which follows a journey around Europe’s cultural border trails. Together with European filmmakers, we follow Europe’s country borders to find out what connects Europeans in times of uncertainty, and what we stand to lose if we part ways.

This is a story about what we can achieve when Europe stands as one and what we risk losing when we don’t. In creating this story, we provide a case study for the world, one that counters the growing sentiments of division.

The Europa Project is more than just a documentary.

The Europa Project is a big initiative. Over the coming two years, we plan to cover at least 9 different cultural trails across 16 countries, which might expand to 21 countries.

This project will result in one short documentary on each cultural heritage trail and one feature length documentary which documents the entire journey around the continent.

We are building a movement.

MangoMilk Productions is the independent production company behind The Europa Project. Originally founded to bring this project to life, the company has since expanded, welcoming a growing team of passionate creatives who share a commitment to our mission.

How you can join us on our mission.

  • This film is by the people, for the people.

We're creating a story that belongs to everyone, and with your help, it can reach the world. From time to time, we’ll launch crowdfunding campaigns that offer unique rewards for those who want to be part of the journey. Keep your eyes peeled on our socials for announcements.

If you choose to support us, thank you - your belief in this story means everything.

  • If you're a creative of any kind, we'd love to hear from you. While we can’t guarantee a collaboration, we welcome you to be part of our growing community.

  • Are you managing a European cultural trail or institution? We’d love to explore a partnership with you. Let’s connect to discuss how our shared interests can create meaningful collaboration.

  • We’re seeking sponsors who share our vision and want to be part of something meaningful. If you are able to support us, whether through funding or equipment, we’d love to connect.
